For Halloween 2011 we built our first ever animatronic prop – a talking Skeleton. This was my first-ever use of servos for a project and I based my design on several I found on the internet. For a first attempt, it turned out great. We’re planning to build our entire Halloween display on the premise that our house is built on top of an old cemetery. For next Halloween, we hope to add a pneumatic grave popper, pneumatic air bust prop, as well as video.
